{"id":2209,"date":"2012-08-15T20:41:51","date_gmt":"2012-08-16T02:41:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.colianni.net\/aj\/?p=2209"},"modified":"2012-08-15T20:41:53","modified_gmt":"2012-08-16T02:41:53","slug":"nearly-10-years-old","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.colianni.net\/aj\/archives\/2012\/08\/15\/nearly-10-years-old\/","title":{"rendered":"nearly 10 years old?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m not sure what prompted looking through my archives this evening, but I realized\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 this blog is nearly 10 years old!<\/p>\n<p>Hard to believe that I&#8217;ve kept this thing going for that long. It started out as a place to post pictures of our puppy, Yeti, and quickly turned in to my little soapbox on the war in Iraq.<\/p>\n<p>Since I don&#8217;t have quite as much  time alone with my thoughts these days, I haven&#8217;t been able to put the same effort in to writing as I would like. Not that there aren&#8217;t issues to discuss\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6<\/p>\n<p>A couple little notes from the archives:  I recently objected to some friends saying some harsh things online about President Obama. I had (in my mind) thought that there was no way I had resorted to any sort of childish name calling of President Bush in my online postings. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.colianni.net\/aj\/archives\/2003\/07\/02\/more-hypocrisy-from-the-bush-administration\/\">It didn&#8217;t take me long to find an example&#8230;<\/a> sorry about that.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.colianni.net\/aj\/archives\/2004\/07\/27\/obama\/\">I called an Obama presidency on July 27, 2004<\/a>.
