Happy Fourth of July
Happy Fourth of July!
I’ve been outside working in the yard most of the afternoon, cleaning up after the dog, and mowing the lawn. It’s nice to have a day off from work, but I wish I could’ve gotten some errands done or gone up to the cabin…
Whew! It’s Friday!
Who knew that posting to a weblog would take a little time and effort! 😉 Anyways, it’s been a busy week, and yesterday was spent doing some “team-building” type exercises in bluff country, southeast MN.
I have a great picture to post from that outing later today, but for now, need a little poster to put up somewhere?
It’s been awhile…
Well. it’s been a while since I’ve posted… here’s comes a flurry of stuff I’ve been saving up, or rather, neglected to post since it wasn’t all that important.
Answers from the weekend
Well almost a whole week has passed since my last gripping update, and I bet one or two people are wondering how it all went…
Overall it was a very nice weekend, although too short. I wish I could’ve spent a week or two hanging out with my lady and my puppy.
And to answer the questions from the last post:
- The ice was off the lake
- I fully entered the very cold water, and my skin burned for 20 minutes after I got out.
- I shot a 52 at Pecks Wildwood.. not too bad (for me)
- Yeti loved the water, and after walking right off the end of the dock (she thought it was shallow, I suppose) figured out how to swim right away
- All I have to say is, 659.5 miles, 13.4 gallons, 49.1mpg
Memorial Day!
Well, I’m off on a little road trip for the weekend, up to the northwoods of Wisconsin. It should be a good time, but sadly my lady can’t make it on account of her working schedule.
The weekend will provide answers to a few questions though:
- Will the ice be off the lake?
- Will I keep Memorial Day tradition and fully enter the water?
- Was my opening 51 on 9 with the new clubs a good sign or a bad sign? (51 is a pretty decent score for me)
- Will Yeti spend the weekend as a ball of mud?
- Will Bogey convincingly break 40mpg? (even with a bike on the roof?)
For the answers to these questions and more, tune in next week!
